Meet Sean Brackett

Brackett attended Columbia University and became the team’s full-time starter at quarterback as a sophomore. His most notable accomplishments at Columbia include being selected as a member of the “All Time Team”, 2010-19 All-Decade Team, 2011 team captain and Honorable Mention All-Ivy League, and two-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week and First-Team All-Ivy League in 2010. He was also named Ivy League Rookie of the Week once in 2009. Brackett majored in Sociology at Columbia.

In 2018, the Pirates inaugural season, Brackett helped lead the team to the NAL’s top record (11-5), the number-one seed in the NAL playoffs, and the league’s top-scoring offense (total points). His 226.4 passing yards/game and 7.6 yards/passing ranked first among NAL quarterbacks. Brackett also finished second in passing yards, passing efficiency, passing yards/completion, passing completion percentage, and passing touchdowns which earned him the 2018 league MVP.
